I'm trying to work with some fits images in fortran. Going through
Doug's guide to the imfort package, i've
tried opening the images with "imopen", but this seems to fail
(ier=19) on fits images. The only work around
i've found is to convert the image into an old-time IRAF (imh/pix) pair.Is there some other approach?thanks,phil

Hi Phil,
Imfort is for OIF (i.e. the .imh format) images only. Other than
converting the image, your only other solution is to convert the program
to use FITSIO.Cheers,
