Hi Guys,I'm trying to install a fresh copy of IRAF on my redhat linux system.Since it's a new release, I'm using the full installation from the
ftp: patch2a subdirectory. I acquired all *rhux* files from that directory:
db.rhux.x86.gz ib.rhux.x86.gz nb.rhux.x86.gz as.pcix.gen.gzI used the ib/nb/as files but found no reference to the db.rhux.x86.gz
in the installation guides/READMEs. Is it needed? Where does it go?A check of the final installation showed that 'cl' works; but I didn't
actually use any IRAF operation to test further.Cheers, Robyn

Hi Robyn,
The DB files are iraf debug libraries -- unless you'll be
developing applications you won't need them, otherwise unpack in
the iraf$bin.redhat directory.Cheers,
-Mike
