The new IMTOOL will work without the DISPLAY task changes, but if you want all
the features you need to install the full V2.6. We are preparing a release of
this for all Sun/IRAF sites now, as I assume that all sites will want to get
the improved IMTOOL as soon as they can, if they are using it at all.The wasted file descriptors bug would only occur when a connection was made;
if things are working properly very few connections are made by a process,
and although the file descriptors are being wasted, you don't notice it.
Since you have networking disabled you would never call zfioks anyhow, so
won't see the bug. Don't worry about it.
