Are their any plans to update XGterm to be able to use the newer fonts provided by many of the distributions, ie "monospace".Would look much nicer that the standard X fonts now available Linas

There aren't plans to specifically support new fonts, however XGterm is able to use any of the fonts currently on your system and supported by the X11 server. The '-fn' commandline flag can be used to name the font, see the 'XTerm' man page for additional flags that control fonts.-Mike

Hi Mike,Thansk for that, however "-fn" does not support TTF fonts and I notice that xgterm does have the -fa option. Oh well, back to writing tasks ...
