The following segmentation violation occurs under both Solaris and Linux (IRAF v12.2.2). Can anyone shed some light? ymir% cd ~/iraf
ymir% setiraf
ymir% cl
Word too long
ymir% csh -f `which cl`
cl> cd /data/mimir0/gaetz/data/HST/t1
cl> stsdas

The "Word too long" message is usually associated with something like
a recursive PATH definition (the fact that "csh -f" cures it means it is
at least something in your .cshrc file). I don't think this is related to the
strfits problem however.In the past we've simply forwarded these questions on to the STScI
Help Desk (help@stsci.edu) so you might consider that as well. Otherwise,
could you put the image at some URL so I can have a look. You mentioned
IRAF V2.12.2, but what version of STSDAS are you using?-Mike
