Subject: Cosmic ray removal
Dear Frank,We have 3 multiple exposures of mosaic data that we need to remove
cosmic rays from. I was wondering would be the best way to do this.
Is there a new code or a new, improved version of CRUITIL ???thanksmansie

Hi Mansie,There is nothing more recent than the stuff in CRUTIL. If you are
asking about things suitable
for mosaic data there is nothing special. You would just apply a
cleaning algorithm to each
extension. The task MSCCMD might make it easy to loop over the
extensions automatically
but it requires tasks that work on list of images. I hope this is
the type of information you
wanted.Yours,
Frank
