Hi Frank et al.,I am having a strange problem with mscskysub in the mscred package when running iraf on wombat or kumbhakarna. When i try to create a script using mkscript,
i get the following error:ERROR on line 71: Undefined parameter value (mscskysub.sections)
mkscript (script=skysuball.cl)I have tried unlearning both mscred and mscskysub to no avail. Any idea what is going on?CheersArjun

Hi Arjun,
The 'sections' and 'circle' parameters for the task are declared
as hidden strings, but aren't supplied with a default value in the param
file (e.g. ""). This is causing the problems, but a quick workaround is
to just supply the null string (double quotes) when mkscript puts you
in epar. I'm not sure which other tasks/params may have similar problems,
Frank can address this in an updated version.Cheers,
-Mike

The way mkscript works is that it does an lpar on a task
and passes this to a formater. The problem is that the
formater doesn't
like parameters with no value. Note that this is
different than "" as a parameter value. So for thet ask
that it chokes on check
that all parameters have a value even if only the null
string value. It looks to me like the error may actually
be useful in pointing
you to the parameter which needs a value; i.e.
