Hi,(1) I have 10 fits images of the [b:2e712c5c94]same [/b:2e712c5c94]field.
(2) Each image contains 3 object stars. Centres of these stars are shifted slightly from image to image.
(3) Let us take 1st image. I want to transform [b:2e712c5c94]each [/b:2e712c5c94]pixel co-ordinates (x,y) in this fits image to (RA,DEC) for that pixel.
(4) And I want to do (3) above for remaining 9 images.
(5) I know that this is done using WCS tools.
(6) But I do not know what are WCS and how this transformation is actually done using IRAF; I mean is there any IRAF task to do this WCS fitting or WCS transformation?
(7) What Should I read first?Thanks

Type "help immatch" and then "help <task>" for the tasks listed there.
