Hi IRAF Group -I am searching around for a routine to convert a spectrum that is already
flux calibrated, in the form f-nu to the form f-lambda? I found something
in longslit to go the other way, but the spectrum I have is calibrated in
flux (f-nu) vs. wavelength and what I need is flux (f-lambda) vs. wavelength. It occurs to me that it would be really useful to have a detailed index
of tasks, and operations buried within a given task. Thanks for your assistance. - Peter Wehinger

Hi Peter,
Would the 'l' keystroke command in SPLOT do what you need, according
to the help page it should, then you can write out the new spectrum to a new
image. If you have many spectra to process this can be done using a cursor
command file (see the help for BPLOT for an explanation).> It occurs to me that it would be really useful to have a detailed index

Do you know about the REFERENCES task? This can be used to find
tasks where the one line description matches a given keyword. Indexing all
of the functions within a task a much more complicated problem but it's
an interesting idea!
Let us know if this doesn't do it.Cheers,
