Hi,While attempting to run noao.rv, I encountered the following
error message:rv> fxcor
List of object spectra (../flux/sa01GASP2.2.fbin.imh):
List of template spectra (G0V_HD28099.imh):
ERROR: segmentation violationI have been told that this is related to DISK I/O. These aren't
the only 2 input files that will generate this message either. Is
there an easy way around this problem, whatever it is?Thanks,
Doug Mathis

Hi Doug,
A segmentation violation could be caused by several things, most
recently it was tracked down to an incorrect value of the DC-FLAG keyword
in an image header. It can also be caused by several known (and now fixed)
bugs in the system. Could you send me a sample image header and the param-
eters you are using so I can try to duplicate the problem here? Does this
happen the very first time you try to run the task or only subsequent times?
Does a flpr clear the problem?Regards,
Mike Fitzpatrick
