Content-Length: 375Hi David,We at NOAO do not have accounts on your machines. So you either have
to give me an account to use or send a long header listing of one
of your images. The new IRAF has some neat stuff dealing with
coordinate systems but it is also somewhat sensitive to reading older
image headers. I'm sure that some HEDIT stuff will be required but
that is all.Frank Valdes>From dspray@as.arizona.edu Fri Jun 19 16:31:38 1992

Thanks for the response. I forgot that you folks couldn't reach our files
directly. The long listing of the offending header is attached. I have about
300 to 400 spectra in the old format; I hope I can write a simple script to
do the HEDITs, or I'm in for a long summer...David

Content-Length: 285Hi David,The solution is simple. You have to eliminate the APFORMAT keyword as
follows: cl> hedit <images> apformat del+ verify- update+where <images> can be a list of all your spectra. Do that and give it
a try. If there is still a problem let me know.Cheers,
Frank
