Hello!
We are using IRAF in the network mode. The server, which is a SUN4 has
a magnetic tape drive and two sparc stations which are on the IRAF network
have a cartridge tape drive each. We are not able to copy data on cartridges
while logging in on these sparc stations.
What I have attempted is the following : I changed the 'mtb' entry in
the 'dev$devices' file to read nrst0 but the message we get when the alllocate
command is invoked is 'cannot fsts to device nrst0'
Please advice.
