Currently we are running IRAF on a SUN SPARC station 1 and recently have been
troubled by the fluctuations in the load levels, everybody runs their fitting
jobs in the background in the middle of the day. To try to spread some
of this work out it was suggested that we should submit the various jobs to
be performed later in the day, the question is how? (ie We would like to be able to submit Iraf batch jobs at specified times of day (or night)). Do you know
of any way that this can be done? Remember we are not UNIX geniuses! Thanks for your help! JJ Kavelaar and
Terry Bridges

Is there a way to call the cl noninteractively and execute a script?
I can't seem to find any documentation on this. If I execute from a shell
cl <file.cl, there is some problem with cl trying to figure out what kind
of terminal this is. I have also not been able to figure out what
command line parameters might be used with an invocation of cl.
Thanks.
Tom
