Hello (so soon) Bob... > We're having a couple of minor problems with our 386i installation:

The only tasks in TV that do work with IMTOOL are DISPLAY and FRAME. The
next round of IMTOOL modifications will include a software zoom, as well as
RGB emulation, fast blink split-screen, graphics overlay and other features.
The full TV menu works with the IIS interface, but not IMTOOL. > (2) when we do eparam, the arrow keys don't work as specified in the "help".
> Any insights you have into these problems would be appreciated. In EPARAM, the up and down arrow keys should move you up and down the list of
parameters; the right and left arrow keys can be used to edit a parameter
value once you've typed it in. The left and right arrows can't be used to
position the cursor at the end of an existing parameter value so you can
append to it, for example. If you're seeing behavior other than this,
something isn't working as it should. The keystrokes for EPARAM are maintained
in a file corresponding to the environment variable 'editor'. For example,
if you're using the vi editor, the default keystroke file is dev$vi.ed.
(A user can have a private copy of this file in their home directory and
so can change the default keystrokes known to EPARAM.) Could the arrow
keys have been remapped on your terminal to put out different control
sequences than expected? Maybe in a .defaults file? You are the second
site in two days to tell me the arrow keys aren't working in EPARM on a
386. If what I've said here doesn't clear up the problem, please let
me know exactly how the keys aren't working. I'll look into it more on
a 386 (I'm using a 3/110 and the arrow keys work as expected).Hope this helps,
Suzanne
