Hi I am using the 'transform' procedure to correct the wavelength-curvature of longslit spectra.
The procedure has the parameter 'flux', which is used to control the conservation of flux per pixel. Our measurements are so that we are measuring scattered light from a dust cloud, and thus the object fills the whole slit. So basically we are measuring surface brightness. I think in this case we should use 'flux=no'. Is this correct ?Best regards, Kimmo Lehtinen

That is correct, preserve surface brightness = "flux = no".Frank Valdes
