Hello,
I was reading the "NMISC external package on Snow Leopard Mac OS 10.6.1" topic, and the solution to the problems involving installing the nmisc package was to use the prebuilt binaries available at "https://iraf.net/ftp/iraf/extern/nmisc-bin.macintel.tar.gz"...unfortunately, these no longer seem to be accessible. I am trying to install both nmisc and gmisc, but there are no prebuilt binaries available online for the macintel architecture (not that I can find, anyways). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm having nothing but problems trying to use mkpkg to compile, and it would be great if someone knew where I could find prebuilt macintel binaries for these packages.
Thanks!
MC2

The NMISC package is now considered obsolete since all of the tasks are already part of the core v2.15 system. In any case, I've restored the pre-built macintel binaries to the link in your post.

Thank you so much! I am stuck with using the 2.14 version of IRAF because I need it to be compatible with the Gemini IRAF package, and the Gemini website advised usage of the older version.

The package was similarly obsolete in v2.14. Before you ask, the COLOR package is also listed as a dependency and is also now a source-only package, however it hasn't actually been used by the gemini package in quite a while so not installing it shouldn't matter.
