Hi,How can I change the binning of the y-axis of my plot.So if I get an image the has a y-axis of 0-4000, I would like to "stretch the plot" to be 0-4000000, any suggestion on how to do that?Note thatI don't want just to increase the range meaning to get a blank region above 4000, but I want to stretch the actual plot. Can you please help me with that?

For example if I use :y y1 y2 to expand the y region I get a blank region above my graph... but what I am trying to do is to "stretch" the plot itself, this way it loosed some detailed information but I need to do that to compare it to a model line that has a fixed y range.

What task are you actually using? Are these image pixels or text values you're plotting?Various tasks have various ways to change the plot scaling, but not in a way that scales the data. For images, tasks like IMARITH can scale the data by a factor of 1000 and you simply replot, for text values you might need to write script to scale the values.
