I'm doing a fresh install of IRAF V2.15 patch 1 on a Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit system.So... I grabbed this file,patch1.lnux.x86_64.gzbut the install fails, with the following messages:Editing iraf/imdir paths into system files ... [ FAIL ]
*** File mkiraf.csh not found.
*** File libc/iraf.h not found.Creating <iraf.h> symlink ... [ FAIL ]

Ops! Thanks for pointing this out! And for responding so quickly!I had gone to the ftp site and looked at the timestamps on the files in the PCIX directory, and had assumed that the iraf.linux.x86_64.gz file, with a timestamp from 2010, was V2.15 without the patch. Not realizing that is was a symbolic link...Can I make a plea for new standard filenames? e.g.,iraf-v215a-linux-x86_64.tar.bz2Note: the version and patch is in the name; no extra dots; it says that it is a tar archive; and it uses bz2 compression which is considerably better than gz.
