Hi, I could not figure out how to copy/paste from iraf on MAC. Both middle-click and command-c/v don't work. I have MAC OS X 10.5.8. Could anyone help me out? Thanks.

It depends whether you're referring to the Terminal.app or an xterm/xgterm window, or a cross between the two. The Cmd-c/v works with the Mac pasteboard and is appropriate for Terminal.app, the mouse button cut-n-paste is an X11 thing.
You can enable clipboard sync by editing ~/Library/Preferences/org.x.X11.plist and adding the following five boolean keys1 (and checking them).[code:1:b306524ea0]
sync_clipboard_to_pasteboard
sync_pasteboard
sync_pasteboard_to_clipboard
sync_pasteboard_to_primary
sync_primary_on_select
[/code:1:b306524ea0]Restart X11 and they should be synchronized properly. You can add the keys either with the Property List Editor or with the following Terminal commands:[code:1:b306524ea0]
defaults write org.x.X11 sync_clipboard_to_pasteboard -boolean true
defaults write org.x.X11 sync_pasteboard -boolean true
defaults write org.x.X11 sync_pasteboard_to_clipboard -boolean true
defaults write org.x.X11 sync_pasteboard_to_primary -boolean true
defaults write org.x.X11 sync_primary_on_select -boolean true
[/code:1:b306524ea0]
