I just downloaded the new v2.15 for MacOS Intel. The install script fails at creating the imtoolrc link. However, both the actual file and the symlink file exist where they are supposed to. Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you run the install script with the 'sudo' command? Is there an existing /usr/local/lib directory?Could you cut-n-paste the screen error messages. Looking at the script it appears to check for a /usr/local directory but not specifically /usr/local/lib. You might try[code:1:034c3103ca]% sudo mkdir -p /usr/local/lib[/code:1:034c3103ca]And then try running the install script again.

This turned out to be a bug that's been in the script a long time, caused by not having a /usr/local or /usr/local/lib directory on the machine. Creating these directories by hand will let the script proceed, but will claim the imtoolrc link fails although it did work. A fixed version of the install script is available at ftp://iraf.noao.edu/pub/install if you want to replace the one in the hlib$ directory. Thanks for the report.
