Dear IRAF support,I need to ask you support for some of the IRAF libraries, which are
also used by the standalone DAOPHOT fortran code.IMFORT = ./libimfort.a ./libsys.a ./libvops.a ./libos.a ./libcompat.aI have gotten the DAOPHOT source code from Dr. Peter Stetson,
and I am having problem to compile it on my linux UBUNTU machine.
Dr. Peter suspects that the installation problem is due to these libraries.Could you kindly provide me with a version of this libraries
created for an UBUNTU 32 bit machine? (if possible a second set
for the 64 bit machine would also be highly appreciated.)We will make sure to also thank the IRAF support in any publication
that will use the DAOPHOT code.All the best

The needed libraries (both 32-bit and 64-bit) are available in the v2.15 release announced in the main iraf.net site for the linux distribution. You can either copy the requested libs to your build directory or install the full IRAF release. Note that the libcompat.a is no longer required and should be deleted from the DAOPHOT makefile as a dependency.
