I'm getting this error when I try to run imarith on a set of 2min exposures I have. The odd thing is that it works fine for both 30sec and 60sec exposure times of the same night.
I am trying to subtract the dark from the light, and it comes up
ERROR: floating point invalid operationThe thing is, I've checked all the images in ds9 and they all look fine. Usually when there is a problem, ds9 won't open them. It seems to be that only the 2 minute exposures from one night don't work, and I'm not sure why.
Any suggestions for even just troubleshooting?

An invalid operation can occur when there is a floating-point under/overflow, and operation on a NaN pixel, etc. Does an IMSTAT on the image show exceptionally large/small pixel values that might cause a problem when computing the difference? Does setting the 'calctype' parameter to 'double' let the operation continue?
