hi all,i have couple of questions, and i don't know how to do it, 1) I heard term "absolute flux calibration" and "relative flux calibration", what the difference? In what package in IRAF that do these task?2) I'm going to deconvolve star spectrum with instrument profile using lucy-richardson deconvolution method from additional package STSDAS. Maximum intensity for star spectrum is around 70,000 and for instrument profile is around 250,000. I think it will be obviously odd if i deconvolve when filter intensity (instrument profile) is 3x bigger than something to be filtered (star spectrum). I need to normalize star spectrum and instrument profile to get maximum intensity in same level (example: 10) for both spectrum. How i do normalize in IRAF? Thank you
