Hi all, I am just getting my hands on some (red) LRIS data and am working on resolving the problem with bias from the double amplifiers on the CCD. As the system was upgraded recently, the current support page doesn't seem to apply to my data, taken in 2006. I was given the IRAF routine WMKOLRIS to use but that doesn't seem to work (when I try to run it, there appear to be missing packages), and I've been unable to find any trace of it online otherwise. If anyone has suggestions on where to look for support or has experience personally (and would be willing to share), it would help me out immensely! Thank you in advance.-Alec

You'll most likely need to contact Keck if there were changes to the software or reduction procedures. Otherwise, what are the missing packages? If these are IRAF packages you may need to load these yourself before using WMKOLRIS, if they are external packages like TABLES then you'll need to be sure these are installed (separately) as well.Hopefully another user can provide more specific advice.-Mike

I wrote to Keck and they responded that their current software package should be able to account for the older data, so I'm going to try and use that for now. One package that was marked as missing was NMISC, which I've been having a hard time finding since. I'll keep at it, and thanks for the help!-Alec

NMISC is available from https://iraf.net/ftp/iraf/extern/ or you can also check ftp://iraf.noao.edu/iraf/extern

Thanks for all of your help! Sorry for the delay, but I hit midterms and didn't get back to work. I was told that NMISC is not needed for the WMKOLRIS function I'm using, so I bypassed it and things seem to running. Thank you for your help!-Alec
