HiI've been using imcentroid to generate a list of centres for a number of sources. I have repeated the process on a few datasets without any problems. A typical example of the code and output is:[code:1:d5d3e180d6]
boyden> imcentroid > 'centroids.dat'
List of input images (@list.txt):
Reference image (mbxpS200806010100.fits[SCI]):
Reference coordinates file (20080601_100.coo):
Warning: failed to converge near (622, 327)
Warning: Problem with coarse centering
boyden>

mbxpS200806010049.fits[SCI] 736.590 (0.013) 191.951 (0.013) 6etc.Having done exactly the same (as far as I can see) on a specific dataset, the lines are suddenly broken off after the filenames. The length of the filenames of the fits frames seem to be the same as for previous sets, and the positions of the centres do not exceed 1000 in x or y, so those columns also seem to have the same length as before. Here is the exact code and an example of the output for this dataset:[code:1:d5d3e180d6]
boyden> imcentroid > 'centroids.dat'
List of input images (@list.txt):
Reference image (mbxpS200806130300.fits[SCI]):
Reference coordinates file (0300Reference.coo):
Warning: failed to converge near (777, 400)
Warning: Problem with coarse centering
boyden>

mbxpS200806130262.fits[SCI]

mbxpS200806130262.fits[SCI]

785.710 (0.027) 413.007 (0.025) 1
mbxpS200806130263.fits[SCI]
736.913 (0.109) 202.815 (0.108) 2etc.When I first copied and pasted the output into this window, I was astounded to find that it showed up correctly on the screen. When I copied and pasted it from this window into other editors, it was incorrect again. I delayed sending this post, and when I opened it again this morning, it displayed incorrectly in this window as well. In case it displays differently on your screen, on mine I have a line break after the filenames, with the centres and source numbers displayed on a new line, which is indented. The next step of my reduction process fails because of this problem. I will be very thankful for any advice on how to fix this.Daniel
