To Whom It May Concern:I am trying to use ecidentify to identify spectral features in an extracted emission line FITS image. After identifying 13 emission lines over three orders, I am still unable to use the 'f' key option to show the residuals and fit a dispersion solution. Typing 'l' fits one or two lines with non-sensical values which are not even in my line list. Any suggestions?
I am using:
IRAF V2.14
Mac OS X 10.5
