Me again.I thought mscred was working but when I try to use any of the tasks (mscimage, for example) I get the error message:ERROR: Cannot open connected subprocess (./x_mscred.e)
"type="image")"
line 27: mscsrc$mscimage.cl
called as: `mscimage ()'I cannot find the file x_mscred.e on the computer (Intel mac), nor any of that format (x_pkg.e) so I think the executables have not installed. "cl>show arch" gives ".macintel" as the architecture but trying to do "cl>mkpkg macintel" gives:Warning, mkpkg line 153: could not find mkpkg module or label `macintel'
Warning, mkpkg line 153: no entry in mkpkg file for `macintel'Running "cl>mkpkg macosx" gives:deleting any dreg .e files left lying about in the source directories... _TFL.mkfloat: Permission denied.

rm: bin.generic/OBJS.arc: No such file or directoryI have tried altering the permissions of the directory, but still this problem persists. Any ideas?Thanks.

You can download pre-built binaries from https://iraf.net/ftp/iraf/extern/mscred-bin.macintel.tar.gzAssuming you downloaded this file to the /tmp directory, you would install them using[code:1:f915e156a3]
% cd /Users/iraf/iraf/mscred
% tar zxvf /tmp/mscred-bin.macintel.tar.gz
[/code:1:f915e156a3]This will create a 'bin.macintel' directory in the mscred package dir with the binaries.-Mike
