Hello,I'm a novice user, trying to play with the data from ESO NTT (EMMI detector) in mscred package. Data are in multi-extension FITS files (since there're 2 CCDs in that detector) and I got errors in simple tasks like obtaining master bias frame:[code:1:a4964b016c]
mscred> zerocombine EMMI.2007-06-23T19:35:52.704,EMMI.2007-06-23T19:36:10.476 output=master_bias combine=median ccdtype=none
ERROR: FXF: numeric value only allowed as second term in ksection
"low_reject=low_reject, high_reject=high_reject, grow=grow)"
line 286: mscsrc$ccdproc.cl
called as: `ccdproc (images=EMMI.2007-06-23T19:35:52.704,EMMI.2007-06-23T19:36:10.476, output=, bpmasks=, ccdtype=none, noproc=no)'
"ccdproc (ims, output="", bpmasks="", ccdtype=ccdtype, noproc=no)"
line 37: mccdred$zerocombine.cl
called as: `zerocombine (input=EMMI.2007-06-23T19:35:52.704,EMMI.2007-06-23T19:36:10.476, output=master_bias, combine=median, ccdtype=none)'
mscred>
[/code:1:a4964b016c]Am I doing something wrong? Is this an issue with my IRAF/mscred installation (which is the most recent version available for linux architecture) or non-standard FITS headers (e.g. some keywords are more than 8 characters long) provided by ESO? Any help is appreciated. I put mentioned files on the web server http://sn.sai.msu.ru/~chil/iz/ in case someone will have opportunity to take a look on this case.Regards,
Ivan

Seems that I managed to fix my problem as described in https://iraf.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=88799 thread. EXTNAME keywords in my FITS files containing dashes (e.g. EXTNAME = 'CCID20-14-5-6') caused this error:[code:1:6cf35dca7f]
ERROR: FXF: numeric value only allowed as second term in ksection
[/code:1:6cf35dca7f]which is a bit different from what described in that case but anyway related to the FITS kernel parser. Replace dash with underscore fixes the problem.
