I want to add a small image, say 10 by 10 to various locations in a large image.
Can I do this? How?Thanks

Assuming you simply want to replace pixels, you can use image sections in both the input and output image with a simple IMCOPY, e.g.[code:1:5373bfda88]cl> imcopy dev$pix[301:400,301:400] foo.fits[101:200,101:200][/code:1:5373bfda88]You'll need to be sure to get the section right based in the image size.Otherwise, IMCOMBINE can also do this and can do more than simply replace the pixels.-Mike
