I am having a problem with ressurecting an imfort program which I wrote a few years ago
and which worked fine running under Solaris on a Sun. I have downloaded the latest version of IRAF
and am now working on a linux box
Linux 2.6.18-53.el5xen #1 SMP Wed Oct 10 16:48:44 EDT 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

My program stops with the error message
[i:01fac72154]PANIC in `': Memory has been corrupted[/i:01fac72154]
as soon as I try to close an image using
[i:01fac72154]call imclos(im0,ier)
[/i:01fac72154](opening the image and reading in the data seems fine)[i:01fac72154]
[/i:01fac72154]
Any ideas please?  I have a lot of IRAF programs I want to revive and this is a show stopper.
My makefile is listed below. Thanks for your help.Stuart Jefferies*************************************************************************************

Is it still not possible to use IMFORT on a 64-bit machine?
I cannot compile (fc does not work) my old programs in my x86-64 machine.
Thanks for any info on this subject.
