I use a 1340 x 1300 ccd camera to take images but after proccessing, the image displayed in ds9 becomes a 512 x 512 one, not the original 1340 x 1300 one.
I know the problem lies in the header file. For all those fit images, I added these info to the headers
NAXIS=2
NAXIS1=1340
NAXIS2=1300which originally didin't exist.
But after processing the image, I read the header of the imh file directly from ds9(not using the imheader command in xgterm, which shows different info), there it says
NAXIS1=512
NAXIS2=512what can I do ?

Reset your 'stdimage' variable to define a larger frame buffer (512x512 is the default, e.g. "cl> reset stdimage = imt2048" and redisplay. This can also be reset in your login.cl file, the GDEVICES command will print a list of available frame buffers.-Mike
