Hi! new user here I have downloaded the AS IB and NB files for cigwin and I have started an account at iraf.net. the next instruction is:
# Install the files.
login as iraf
unpack the core system distribution
configure the BIN directoriesI Can't login as iraf how do I do this? Once I do, will it prompt me on unpacking core system distribution and directory configuration?

An 'iraf' user is not strictly required for cygwin, just unpack and install the files as yourself.-Mike
