Hi, we're having a problem with flux calibration of our spectra. When we try to follow the standard routines described in the Users guide to Reducing SlitSpectra with IRAF we get a divide by zero problem, because the telluric absorption features on the standard star go to zero. We can't use the kpnoslit package because the fits headers seem to be missing a parameter, but it doesn't say which parameter is missing.Help!

Hello,I would need more information to be able to help. Which task are you using when you get the divide by zero? How was the data processed if not with kpnoslit? What is the exact set of parameters and output from running kpnoslit?Cutting and pasting terminal output when something fails can be helpful as well as including the parameter listings (using lpar or dpar). If we find a specific task and parameter that are giving the divide by zero error on a specific spectrum you could make that spectrum available for me to reproduce the problem.Yours,
Frank Valdes
