Hi all,No matter how i tried, i couldn't make xaphot run. when i give the command to run it, it just blinks and iraf and xgterm crashes. I think it's because of a display problem. I run spectool which is another guiapps application without a problem but it just needs a graphic term so there's no problem.Is there anyone out there to face with the same problem or know a way to work it out?Thanks,

XAPPHOT makes use of the imaging part of the widget in the GUI, most likely you're seeing the problem of using this on a 24-bit display (which is known to not work). The only workaround for the moment is to use an 8-bit Pseudocolor display as you would for XImtool. Work on the widget to fix this is underway now.-Mike
