Is there any way how to run tasks in background if you call them using epar name_of_task? I know that it can be done if one types name_of_task query_parameters &, but I don't know how this can be done from epar environment. Any suggestions?

Sorry, there is currently no way to submit a job to run in the background from within epar. Part of the reason is that there is no way to redirect input/output from within epar either, this is typically something you would do when submitting a background job from the CL prompt.-Mike
