Does anyone know if there's a particular cosmic ray removal package that's really good at removing cosmic rays from spectra? Thanks!

I always use "doecslit" to do the final extraction of the spectra. Setting "clean=yes" and "sparams.weights=variance" there removes most of the cosmic rays. I should say I've tested this with bright stars only (S/N>~50) so I'm not sure if this will always work that well.

I sometimes run LACOSMIC on my 2D spectra before extracting.
It's simple to download and install, and there are versions for spectra and images:http://www.astro.yale.edu/dokkum/lacosmic/
