I'm running imcentroid on a series of CCD frames in which the stars in the field drift around a decent amount. My small box is small (7) and my big box is rather large (63). I've set the number of iterations to be around 20 or so. The problem I'm having is that many times, instead stopping when it can't find the star in the field, imcentroid continues on as if it has. When this happens, the coords it returns back are typically nowhere near any bright source.
Can anybody explain to me what's going on here? Thanks!

Are you tried to centered all your CCD images? Or you tried to done other task?
If you need centered all images, so try to use imcoadd from GEMENI package - it more powerful and flexible for tune process of centering.
