Hello,
When editing the epar fields of "ccmap" and "cctran" to use the pointers "@[i:e562f56f77]filename"[/i:e562f56f77] the field for "database" does not take the input. (I'm not sure how much info to give here, bare with me)
IRAF version 2.12.2eg.
ccmap epar file -
input = @inlist The input coordinate files
database= @outlist The output database file
(solutio= @solnlist) The database plate solution namesthe file [i:e562f56f77]inlist[/i:e562f56f77] contains a file path "../Field#/c#/filename" and when running ccmap and cctran the programs follow the path to the correct file.however for the "database" line does not follow the path in [i:e562f56f77]outlist[/i:e562f56f77] instead a file called [i:e562f56f77]@outlist[/i:e562f56f77] is created in the working directory.this also occurs for cctran and imexam (the logfile line will also not take the input "@[i:e562f56f77]filename[/i:e562f56f77]")Is there a different flag that needs to be used instead of the "@"? or does this feature not work for those lines because a file is being created?Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated,Thank you,
~Kyle

The 'database' parameter is expected to be just a filename, not an @list. In general the plural 'files' or 'images' is used in the help page descriptions of parameters that take a list. The database file will be opened for appending so there is no need to specify more than one file.-Mike
