I am working on Chandra X-ray data.
I have used ccmap to do astrometric correction of one of the images obtained by using the command dmcopy on the evt2 file of Chandra. Then I have a database for storing the result of how to transform the images.
What I want to do is to correct the astrometry on the evt2 file. Is there any method that I can update the WCS header of evt2 file using results from ccmap?

I'm confused. Doesn't just setting the CCMAP 'update' parameter put the WCS in the image, or is this a different kind of file than just a FITS image?-Mike
