I ported my code to my new machine. Now, iraf doesn't work. The error is that it can't find stecf.It seems that stecf wasn't ported over. So I copied the folder, (stecf-v1.5) I put it into the scisoft/all/packagees/extern directory. Didn't help.What do I do now? Does it matter that I am now running an Itel based MAC?

Aside from installing the software itself, you need to declare the package so it can be found in the hlib$extern.pkg file. Be sure to put all declarations before the final 'keep' statement, the pathname must have a trailing '/' and be correct for your system. Use the existing entries as examples.-Mike

The working loginuser.cl was ported with the packages declared. However, I didn't need the full path name just the name of the package. I wil try again using the full path name. I get back to you if it doesn't work. Thanks
