Dear colleagues, after installing IRAF, apparently successfully, under a SuSE linux, I type
'cl' from the iraf account but the environment does not start. It does not
find the command 'cl'. As a matter of fact there seems to be no iraf
executables under /usr/local/bin. Is something wrong?.Thank you very much.

Assuming there are no errors reported by the install script, be sure it was run as the root user and [b:96bd589034]without[/b:96bd589034] the "-n" flag. If you're simply getting a "command not found" message then this is normally a path problem, e.g. you specified /usr/local/bin as the "local bin directory" but this isn't in your $PATH. Hope this helps.Cheers,
-Mike
