Hello,I am having a strange crash when running dohydra. It occurs during the comparison line identification. I check the identification and modify the fit for the first one and then let the rest of the apertures run. If I select NO and let them all auto process then everything works fine, but if I modify the lines used in a couple of the fits with higher RMS values a crash eventually occurs. For instance I can modify four or five but eventually upon quitting out of the plot the next aperture will not be autoidentified and iraf will just hang. In fact if I only modify one and then select NO, the autoidenification will run for quite a while (dozens of apertures) and then crash. In this case I get the following message:
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (fasttop): 0x084111d8 ***
If anyone could help me solve or avoid the problem, I would appreciate it greatly.Erik

Hi Erik,I'm not aware of such an error. The ability to jump into an interactive session was a relatively late addition and required some initialization that is different than directly running IDENTIFY. So I would not be surprised if there is such a problem. However, I do occasionally use this feature of REIDENTIFY and have never encountered the problem you report. To track this down would require a reproducible case which might mean having to reproduce it on your system. Let me know if you want to pursue this. I'll be away next week on vacation and would probably not be able to look at it for a couple of weeks. Communicate directly with me on this.Frank Valdes
