Hello,I am working on a UNIX machine with sloaris9. I have one d spectra and would
like to know how to convert the spectra files to image files capable of being
imported into Microsoft word (Gif or Jpeg). So far I've been able to snap the image to post script files but I don't know
where to go from there. Is there another route to making images? Thanks
Andrew

Andrew, Use the device name 'g-gif', this will create a 640x480 GIF image of the
plot in a file called 'sgiXXXXX.gif' in the current directory. Don't forget to
gflush after the snap so the file is created.-Mike
