Hello, iraf users,I feel so dumb about myself for not knowing all those paramters in fits header after having used IRAF longer than 7 years.Anyway, I've been dealing MIMO images and somehow, orientations of RA and DEC are just opposite to where they should be, or rotated 180 degree, whichever way you want to say. Due to this, using msccmatch to correct astrometry seems fruitless.
There should be some parameters which I simply correct in order for orientation to be indicating right directions, I think. It seems like, I am just missing a simple trick I should have known ages ago. And is there anything I have to be careful since I'm dealing w/ multiextention fits files? Please show me light. Thanks a lot in advance.-jhanswer.
That's why there is that huge archive. Somehow I was reminded that I should have referred that first before asking any question, and found answer, I think.
Seems like, I am supposed to mscwcs to rotate it. ( I did not realize that this is one of well-known problem with MIMO.) I am leaving my post as my stupidity .

Hi,Actually we are quite pleased that you could make use of the archive to find the answer. This is really a bug for the bug log or an FAQ. I have added a brief response to the bug list. You have indeed identified the solution.Yours,
Frank Valdes
