Hi Tony,
Sorry for the slow reply, I'd signed off on your mail right
before a trip an never replied. Anyway, the compile problems you
mention are known issues with newer Linux and OSX systems but we
don't do much with Solaris x86. What we know about has been fixed
and I've put a snapshot of the code at ftp://iraf.noao.edu/pub/fitz/x11iraf-ferro.tgzyou can try. That's the most recent source we have and if it doesn't
work let me know. We don't have Solaris 10 so I'm limited to simply
answering mail if there are problems.Cheers,
