Thank you for the information on IRAFv2.12.2. Now I am looking forward to using the new version. Still another question to bother you: has STSDAS/TABLESv3.1 been tested in IRAFv2.12.2?
Cheers
Huoming

STScI is participating in the beta test and has uncovered a bug or
two that will be fixed in the final release. We expect that V2.12.2 will
be fully compatible with STSDAS/TABLES V3.1 (and earlier).Cheers,
-Mike

Hi Kailash,
The final V2.12.2 systems have been built and we're just putting the
final release documentation together now. The systems should be announced
today or tomorrow sometime, you can however get the tarballs from the
V2.12.2 beta directory now (ftp://iraf.noao.edu/pub/V2.12.2-BETA/PCIX).
These need to be checked over one last time and there's a chance they
might change before the announcement, but probably only in a minor way.Regards,
Mike Fitzpatrick
