Hi,I'm having problems displaying images on ximtool/saotng etc... I'm using
stdimage = imt1024 for a 700x500 pixel image. The result is rather odd.
I've included a screen dump so that you can see what I mean. I presume my
setup needs adjusting.Cheers,

Hi Hanna,
Check that you've got a /usr/local/lib/imtoolrc link on your
system pointing to $iraf/dev/imtoolrc. This is normally created
by the iraf install script but only if the /usr/local/lib directory
exists. To workaround this you can either make this link (pointing to
dev$imtoolrc) by hand, rerun the install script after making the
/usr/local/lib dir, or just copy dev$imtoolrc to your unix login directory
as ".imtoolrc" and restart ximtool. Without this file ximtool uses only
the default 512x512 frame buffer.
Let us know if you still have problems.Cheers,
Mike Fitzpatrick
