 "ERROR: Insufficient sample pixels found"

Dear IRAF,I'm trying re-display some images I haven't loaded in some time, and I getERROR: Insufficient sample pixels foundin response to my display command. I've never seen this before. I'm
guessing it has something to do with the newer version (2.11) of IRAF we
now have running. The (mosaic) images have ~1600 pixels on a side, so
there should seemingly be enough pixels to sample. Can you please suggest
what needs to be done to display these images? Thanks,Greg Schultz************************************************************************

> Hi Greg,This is a scaling problem from within the DISPLAY task. In order to
display an image that you can actually see, DISPLAY scales the data so all
the pixel values fits between 0 and 200 before it is displayed. There has
to be a sufficient number of pixels (a minimun of five) to sample in order
to get an accurate scaling factor. The error you are seeing can be caused by: 1. If you are using the 'zmask' parameter, are you sure that
there are a sufficient number of non-zero pixels in order
to allow the scaling algorithm to have enough sample
points?
2. If you are using a bad-pixel mask, are there a sufficient
number of "good" (zero value) pixels? If that still doesn't fix anything, will you send me a sample of your data
(not the entire 1600x1600)? You can put it in ftp://iraf.noao.edu/pub.
Make a directory there for yourself and put the file in it. It would be
best if you could make it a FITS image. Please also include any masks
you're using and a listing of the parameters. Regards,Matt Cheselka
