 "onedspec" question

HelloI've got a quick question about the 'specplot' task in the
'noao.onedspec' package:Is there a way to get specplot to print the graph of stacked spectra in
portrait rather than landscape format. This would be most useful, as the
features in the individual spectra are often flattened because they are
stacked above each other - plotting the graph in portrait format would
leave more vertical space between spectra, which would mean a bigger
range in intensity for each individual spectrum plotted.I would appreciate it if you could let me know if this is possible.Regards,

Pierre,Sorry for taking so long to get back to you....The simplest way to print a plot out in portrait mode is to create a new
entry in your dev$graphcap file that does a rotation and an X/Y flip. The
entry would look like this: lprp|out to printer in portrait mode:\
:RO:YF:tc=lpr:If you can't change the dev$graphcap file, you can do the following: cl> cp dev$graphcap /path/mygraphcapthen make the addition to /path/mygraphcap, and then cl> reset graphcap = /path/mygraphcap
cl> gflushwhere 'path' is wherever you want to put your personal copy of graphcap. Then, when you want to send something to the printer, you'd either do a
:.snap lprp from the graphics cursor, or a device=lprp from the command
line.Let us know if you still have problems with this.Regards,Matt Cheselka
