Hello Syed,
Thanks for your registration. IRAF doesn't currently work under
Windows 95 and it is insufficient for a port so no port is planned. IRAF
is also used for analysis and reduction of optical data, it cannot be used
directly for telescope control, radio or otherwise. We do have a package
called ICE, the IRAF Control Environment, that can be used (with some mod-
ifications depending on your CCD controllers) for data aquisition, but not
for radio data and not for telescope control.
IRAF runs on all platforms listed on the registration form, since
you're interested in PCs you might want to consider Linux or FreeBSD as
the operating system for IRAF. The FreeBSD port will be released with
V2.11
shortly. If you still have questions please feel free to write back, it
